Seksyen 8
Seksyen 294 Kanun dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas subseksyen (5) subseksyen yang berikut:
“(6) This section shall not apply—
(a)
if the offender is charged with a serious offence;
or
(b)
if the offender is charged with the commission of an act of domestic violence as defined under section 2
of the Domestic Violence Act 1994.”.
