Section 4 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in the shoulder note, by deleting the words “Appointment of”; and
(b)
by inserting after subsection (1) the following subsection:
“(1a) The Director General may promote an Auxiliary
Fire Officer.”.
New sections 4a, 4b, 4c and 4d
