Section 8

The principal Act is amended by inserting after section 6 the following section:

“No excise duty levied on goods bona fide in transit and transhipment 6a.  For the purpose of levying of excise duties, goods bona fide in transit, including goods for transhipment, shall not be deemed to be imported unless those goods are or become unexcisable goods.”.
