Section 19 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in paragraph (1)(c), by substituting for the words “veterinary officer” the words “registered veterinary surgeon”;
(b)
in subsection (3)—
(i)
by substituting for the word “practitioner”
wherever appearing the words “registered medical practitioner”;
(ii)
by substituting for the word “dentist” wherever appearing the words “registered dentist”; and
(iii)
by substituting for the words “veterinary officer”
wherever appearing the words “registered veterinary surgeon”; and
(c)
in subsection (4)—
(i)
by substituting for the words “medical practitioner”
the words “registered medical practitioner”;
(ii)
by substituting for the word “dentist” the words
“registered dentist”; and
(iii)
by substituting for the words “veterinary officer”
the words “registered veterinary surgeon”.
