of PREVENTION AND CONTROL OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2025

Section 31 of the principal Act is amended by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(3) Regulations made under this Act may prescribe any act in contravention of the regulations to be an offence and may prescribe penalties—
(a)
in the case of person who is an individual, a fine not exceeding eight thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or both;
(b)
in the case of a body corporate, a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or both.”.
