Pindaan seksyen 5
(a)
dalam subseksyen (1)—
(i)
dalam perenggan (a), dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “Yang di-Pertuan Agong”
perkataan “, on the advice of the Minister”;
(ii)
dalam perenggan (b), dengan menggantikan perkataan “Ministry of Higher Education”
dengan perkataan “Ministry charged with the responsibility for the Fund”; dan
(iii)
dalam perenggan (d), dengan memasukkan selepas perkataan “Minister” perkataan
“after consultation with the Chairman”;
(b)
dengan memasukkan selepas subseksyen (1) subseksyen yang berikut:
“(1a) The Chairman and members of the Board under paragraph (1)(d) shall be from amongst persons of standing, achievement and experience in the charity or human capital development field or from amongst professionals who possess relevant experience in educational, financial or commercial matters.”;
(c)
dalam subseksyen (2), dengan menggantikan perkataan
“three years” dengan perkataan “four years”; dan
(d)
dengan menggantikan subseksyen (3) dengan subseksyen yang berikut:
“(3) The Chairman shall preside at all meetings of the Board and in his absence from any meeting, such other member of the Board as may be elected by the members of the Board who are present shall preside as Chairman and have all the powers of the Chairman.”.
