of COUNTERVAILING AND ANTI-DUMPING DUTIES (AMENDMENT) ACT 2025
Section 14
Section 30 of the principal Act is amended—
(a)
in subsection (2), by substituting for the words “any person or officer authorized in writing in that behalf by the Minister” the words “an investigating authority”;

(b)
by inserting after subsection (2) the following subsection:
“(2a) The Minister may appoint and authorize in writing to any public officer or person to be the investigating authority.”; and
(c)
by substituting for subsection (4) the following subsection:
“(4) The Minister shall then make a recommendation to the Minister of Finance who shall make a decision with respect to the imposition of countervailing or anti-dumping duty under this Act.”.
