Whereas applications were made to the Director under the provisions of sub-section (i) of section 6 of the Malay Reservations Enactment 1936, by the proprietors of the holdings described in the Schedule hereto to have their holdings made Malay Reservations; And whereas notice of the said applications as required by sub-section (ii) was duly given; J.G.N. 3 dated 4.1.2001 and 18.1.2001. PROPOSED REVOCATION OF RESERVATION OF LAND FOR A PUBLIC PURPOSE

Preamble

Bahawasanya melalui Pemberitahuan No. 713 yang disiarkan dalam Warta Kerajaan Johor pada 31hb Ogos 1950, petak tanah sebagaimana yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual dan tertera dalam Pelan Bil. P.A 25711 yang disimpan dalam Pejabat Pengarah Ukur, Johor telah diisytiharkan sebagai suatu tanah rizab bagi maksud awam, iaitu Tapak Rizab Kuari yang diletakkan di bawah jagaan Setiausaha Kerajaan Johor dan diselenggarakan oleh Pengarah Kerja Raya Negeri dan pengganti-penggantinya dalam jawatan; Dan bahawasanya, pada pendapat Pihak Berkuasa Negeri iaitu perizaban di atas tanah yang tersebut hendaklah dibatalkan keseluruhannya; Maka dengan ini adalah diberitahu bahawa menurut subseksyen 64, Kanun Tanah Negara pihak berkuasa mencadangkan supaya rizab yang tersebut itu dibatalkan sebahagiannya dan sesiapa jua yang hendak membuat apa-apa bantahan terhadap pembatalan tersebut bolehlah berjumpa dengan Pengarah Tanah dan Galian di pejabatnya di Johor Bahru jam 10.00 pagi pada 3hb Ogos 2001. Whereas, by Notification No. 713 published in Johore Government Gazette on the 31st August 1950 that parcel of land as described in the Schedule and de-lineated in Revenue Survey Plan No. C.P. 25711, which is deposited in the office of the Director of Survey, Johor to be reserved for a public purpose, to wit a site for the Lands and Mines Office to be under charge of the State Secretary of Johor to be maintained by the State Public Work Director, Johor and his successors in office; And whereas, it now appears to the State Authority that the reservation of the aforesaid land should be revoked in whole; Notice is hereby given in accordance with subsection 64(2) of the National Land Code that the State Authority proposed to revoke the said reservation in partially and that any person who desires to make any objection against the said revocation will be heard by before the Director of Lands and Mines in his office at Johor Bahru on the 3rd of August 2001 at 10.00 a.m. JADUAL/SCHEDULE Daerah/District—Batu Pahat.
