[L.N. 175/1959], yang disebut “Kaedah-Kaedah ibu” dalam Kaedah-Kaedah ini, dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas kaedah 10 kaedah yang berikut:

“Driver’s card 10A. (1) When a licence has been granted in respect of a public service vehicle to operate within

Sabah, the licence holder shall apply for every driver of the vehicle a driver’s card.

MOTOR VEHICLES (COMMERCIAL TRANSPORT) (AMENDMENT) RULES 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraphs 56(1)(d) and (h) of the Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act 1987 [Act 334], the Minister makes the following rules:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These rules may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Commercial Transport)

(Amendment) Rules 2017.

(2)

These Rules come into operation on 1 August 2017.

New rule 10A

2.

The Motor Vehicles (Commercial Transport) Rules 1959 [L.N. 175/1959], which are referred to as “the principal Rules” in these Rules, are amended by inserting after rule 10 the following rule:

“Driver’s card 10A. (1) When a licence has been granted in respect of a public service vehicle to operate within

Sabah, the licence holder shall apply for every driver of the vehicle a driver’s card.

Amendment of Fifth Schedule 3.

The Fifth Schedule to the principal Rules is amended under the heading

“PART II—SABAH”—

(a)

in item 1A, under the column “Amount of Fee”, by substituting for the word “10 00” wherever appearing the word “20 00”;

(b)

by substituting for item 5 the following item:

“5.

For supplying—

(a)

a duplicate license for license that is lost

(b)

a duplicate license for license that is destroyed, defaced or the particulars thereof have become illegible
