Kaedah-Kaedah Kenderaan Perkhidmatan Awam (Pelesenan dan Kelakuan
Pemandu, Konduktor dan Penumpang) 1959 [L.N. 177/1959], yang disebut
“Kaedah-Kaedah ibu” dalam Kaedah-Kaedah ini, dipinda dalam kaedah 2 dengan memasukkan selepas takrif “driver” takrif yang berikut:
‘ “e-hailing vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in the
Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act 1987 [Act 334] and the
Land Public Transport Act 2010 [Act 715];’.

Kaedah baharu 3C
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas kaedah 3B kaedah yang berikut:
“Content of licence
A licence shall contain—
in the case of a licence to drive, the class or classes or type or types of motor vehicles the holder of a licence is authorized to drive;
such other information as the Director General may require from time to time.”.
Pindaan kaedah 15A
Kaedah 15A Kaedah-Kaedah ibu dipinda dengan menggantikan perkataan
“as prescribed” dengan perkataan “in the form as may be determined”.

Kaedah baharu 15B
Kaedah-Kaedah ibu dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas kaedah 15A kaedah yang berikut:
“Display of distinguishing mark.
A driver of an e-hailing vehicle shall display at all times whilst carrying a passenger a distinguishing mark on the vehicle, in the form and manner as may be determined by the Director General.
Any driver of an e-hailing vehicle who contravenes subrule (1) commits an offence and shall be liable in the case of a first conviction, to a fine not exceeding two thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding four thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twelve months or to both.”

PUBLIC SERVICE VEHICLES (LICENSING AND CONDUCT OF DRIVERS, CONDUCTORS
AND PASSENGERS) (AMENDMENT) RULES 2018
Opening note
These rules may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Licensing and
Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and Passengers) (Amendment) Rules 2018.
These Rules come into operation on 12 July 2018.
Amendment of rule 2 2.
The Public Service Vehicles (Licensing and Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and
Passengers) Rules 1959 [L.N. 177/1959], which are referred to as the “principal Rules”
in these Rules, are amended in rule 2 by inserting after the definition of “driver” the following definition:
‘ “e-hailing vehicle” has the meaning assigned to it in the
Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act 1987 [Act 334] and the
Land Public Transport Act 2010 [Act 715]; ’.

New rule 3C
The principle Rules are amended by inserting after rule 3B the following rule:
“Content of licence 3C.
A licence shall contain—
in the case of a licence to drive, the class or classes or type or types of motor vehicles the holder of a licence is authorized to drive;
such other information as the Director General may require from time to time.”.
Amendment of rule 15A
Rule 15A of the principle Rules is amended by substituting for the words
“as prescribed” the words “in the form as may be determined”.

New rule 15B
The principle Rules are amended by inserting after rule 15A the following rule:
“Display of distinguishing mark 15B.
A driver of an e-hailing vehicle shall display at all times whilst carrying a passenger a distinguishing mark on the vehicle, in the form and manner as may be determined by the
Director General.
