Kaedah-Kaedah Kenderaan Perkhidmatan Awam (Pelesenan dan Tatakelakuan
Pemandu, Konduktor dan Penumpang) 1959 [L.N. 177/1959], yang disebut
dalam subkaedah (1), dengan menggantikan perkataan “prescribed fee”
dengan perkataan “payment of fee as prescribed in item 1 of Table A of the Schedule”; dan
dengan memasukkan selepas subkaedah (2) subkaedah yang berikut:
“(3)
Where the applicant of a licence is the holder of a licence issued under the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Drivers) Rules 1965
[L.N. 158/1965], the fee referred to in subrule (1) shall not apply.
The applicant of a licence referred to in subrule (3) shall be subject to the fee as prescribed in item 2 of Table A of the Schedule.

“Renewal of a licence.
Upon receipt of the application for a licence, the date of expiry of the licence shall be in accordance with the date of birth of the holder of a licence.”.

“Kaedah-Kaedah ibu” dalam Kaedah-Kaedah ini, dipinda dalam kaedah 3—

the existing licence together with proof of payment and renewal of such licence shall be sufficient evidence that the holder of a licence is the holder of a valid licence.
The fee for renewal of the licence shall be as prescribed in item 1 of Table A of the Schedule.
Where the holder of a licence is the holder of a licence issued under the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of
Drivers) Rules 1965, the fee referred to in subrule (4) shall not apply.
If the application for renewal of the licence is made after the date of expiry of the licence, the fee to be charged shall be as prescribed in items 1 and 3 of Table A of the Schedule.
An adjustment for the date of expiry of a licence shall be made once only in accordance with the date of birth of the holder of a licence.
The adjustment for the date of expiry of a licence referred to in subrule (1) shall apply to—
a holder of a licence who applies for renewal of a licence upon the expiry of such licence.

PUBLIC SERVICE VEHICLES (LICENSING AND CONDUCT OF DRIVERS, CONDUCTORS
AND PASSENGERS) (AMENDMENT) RULES 2013
Opening note
These rules may be cited as the Public Service Vehicles (Licensing and
Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and Passengers) (Amendment) Rules 2013.
These Rules come into operation on 15 March 2013.
Amendment of rule 3 2.
The Public Service Vehicles (Licensing and Conduct of Drivers, Conductors and
Passengers) Rules 1959 [L.N. 177/1959], which are referred to as the “principal Rules”
in these Rules, are amended in rule 3—
in subrule (1), by substituting for the words “prescribed fee” the words
“payment of fee as prescribed in item 1 of Table A of the Schedule”; and
by inserting after subrule (2) the following subrules:
“(3)
Where the applicant of a licence is the holder of a licence issued under the Goods Vehicles (Licensing of Drivers) Rules 1965
[L.N. 158/1965], the fee referred to in subrule (1) shall not apply.
The applicant of a licence referred to in subrule (3) shall be subject to the fee as prescribed in item 2 of Table A of the Schedule.

New rules 3A and 3B
The principal Rules are amended by inserting after rule 3 the following rules:

Amendment of rule 5 4.
The principal Rules are amended by substituting for rule 5 the following rule:
The fees for the application or renewal of a licence and other fees as may be relevant shall be as prescribed in Table A of the Schedule.
“Fees.

The fees for the adjustment of the date of expiry of a licence in accordance with the date of birth of the holder of a licence shall be as prescribed in Table B of the Schedule.”.
Amendment of rule 5A
Rule 5A of the principal Rules is amended by substituting for the marginal note the following marginal note:
“Requirement for renewal of a licence.”.
Deletion of rule 6 6.
The principal Rules are amended by deleting rule 6.
New Schedule 7.
The principal Rules are amended by inserting after rule 21 the following schedule:
