LAND ACQUISITION (AMENDMENT OF SECOND SCHEDULE) RULES 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 69

of the

Land Acquisition Act 1960 [Act 486], the Minister, with the approval of the National

Land Council, makes the following rules:

Citation and commencement

1. (1) This rules may be cited as the Land Acquisition (Amendment of Second

Schedule) Rules 2017.

(2)

This Rules comes into operation on 1 December 2017.

Amendment of Second Schedule 2.

The Second Schedule to the Land Acquisition Act 1960 is amended—

(a)

in Form A, by substituting for the words “Mukim

Township”

the words “Town/Village/Mukim”;

(b)

in Form B—

(i)

by substituting for the full stop at the end of the paragraph (f)

a semicolon; and

(ii)

by inserting after paragraph (f) the following paragraph:

“(g)
