Seksyen 422 Kanun dipinda dengan menggantikan perkataan
“not exceeding five thousand ringgit and, in default of payment of such fine, to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years” dengan perkataan “not exceeding five hundred thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years, or to both”.
