Section 11
of ORDINAN DARURAT (STANDARD MINIMUM PERUMAHAN, PENGINAPAN DAN KEMUDAHAN PEKERJA) (PINDAAN) 2021
Seksyen 11
Section 27 of the Act is amended—
(a)
in subsection (1), by inserting after paragraph (a) the following paragraph:
“(aa) to enter and inspect any place of employment or any building which, he believes, is used by an employer or centralized accommodation provider for the accommodation of his employees;’’; and
(b)
by substituting for subsection (4) the following subsection:
“(4) Sections 82 and 83 of the Employment Act 1955, section 129 of the Labour Ordinance [Sabah Cap. 67] or section 129 of the
Labour Ordinance [Sarawak Cap. 76], as the case may be, shall apply to the service of a summons issued under this section.”.
