NOTIFICATION UNDER SECTION 60

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 60 of the Arms Act 1960 [Act 206], the Minister exempts the Director of DSA Exhibition and Conference Sdn. Bhd. and his agents from—

(a)

the application of subsection 3(2) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of display at the Defence Services Asia Exhibition 2024 (DSA 2024) and

National Security Asia Exhibition 2024 (NATSEC 2024) in Kuala Lumpur provided that the arms licence granted to the Director of DSA Exhibition and Conference Sdn. Bhd. and his agents in respect of the arms and ammunition is in force; and

(b)

the application of subsection 5(1) of the Act in respect of arms and ammunition intended solely for the purpose of display at the Defence Services Asia Exhibition 2024 (DSA 2024) and

National Security Asia Exhibition 2024 (NATSEC 2024) in Kuala Lumpur.
