Kerajaan Negeri daripada kuat kuasa Akta.
Walau apa pun subperenggan (1), pengecualian itu tidak terpakai bagi pekerja Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan Negeri yang diambil kerja sebagai pekerja sementara atau kontrak—
sebelum tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa Pemberitahuan ini dan pekerjaan mereka berterusan selepas tarikh permulaan kuat kuasa
Pemberitahuan ini.

Pekerja sementara atau kontrak yang diambil kerja sebagai pekerja tetap
Mana-mana pekerja sementara atau kontrak Kerajaan Persekutuan dan Kerajaan
Negeri yang disebut dalam subperenggan 2(2) yang kemudiannya diambil kerja sebagai pekerja tetap tidak boleh dilucutkan apa-apa faedah yang baginya dia berhak di bawah
Akta tertakluk kepada kelayakan caruman.
Pembatalan
Pengecualian di Bawah Seksyen 100 [P.U. (B) 643/1982] dibatalkan.

EMPLOYEES’ SOCIAL SECURITY (EXEMPTION TO EMPLOYEES OF FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT AND STATE GOVERNMENTS) NOTIFICATION 2013
Opening note
This notification may be cited as the Employees’ Social Security
(Exemption to Employees of Federal Government and State Governments)
Notification 2013.
The Minister exempts all employees of the Federal Government and State
Governments from the operation of the Act.
Notwithstanding subparagraph (1), the exemption shall not apply to employees of the Federal Government and State Governments who are employed as temporary or contract employees—
prior to the date of coming into operation of this Notification and their employments continue after the date of coming into operation of this Notification.

Temporary or contract employee employed as permanent employee 3.
Any temporary or contract employee of the Federal Government and State
Governments referred to in subparagraph 2(2) who is subsequently employed as a permanent employee shall not be deprived of any benefits to which he is entitled under the Act subject to contribution eligibility.
Revocation 4.
The Exemption Under Section 100 [P.U. (B) 643/1982] is revoked.
