Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 3(i) Enakmen Rizab Melayu, Menteri Besar Pahang mengisytiharkan tanah seluas 3.543 hektar Blok A dan 0.023 hektar Blok B, Mukim Pahang Tua, Daerah Pekan, yang ditun-jukkan di atas Pelan Ukur No. PW 3827 yang disimpan di pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang menjadi Kawasan Simpanan Melayu Pekan.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 3(i) of the Malay Reserva-tions Enactment, the Menteri Besar of Pahang declares the land measuring an area of 3.543 hectares Blok A and 0.023 hectares Blok B, Mukim of Pahang Tua, District of Pekan, as shown upon Survey Plan No. PW 3827 deposited in the office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Pahang to be a Malay Reservation and to be known as pekan Malay Reservation.
