dan

(b)

Permintaan bagi memperbaharui lesen-lesen menjual bagi Setengah Tahun

Pertama 2002.

Seksyen 2

Permintaan-permintaan itu hendaklah ditulis (iaitu diperbuat (4) empat salinan) di dalam borang yang dipertetapkan di dalam Jadual bagi Peraturan-peraturan Eksais

(Lembaga Pelesen) Tahun 1977 dan hendaklah dihantar kepada Pengerusi di Pejabat

Daerah Kuala Muda tidak lewat daripada 4 (empat) minggu dahulu daripada:

(a)

9 Disember 2001 berkenaan dengan permintaan-permintaan baharu; dan

(b)

4 (empat) minggu sebelum lucut lesen sekarang berkenaan permintaan-permintaan bagi memperbaharui lesen-lesen itu.

Seksyen 3

Tiap-tiap permintaan bagi lesen untuk rumah-rumah atau tempat-tempat yang belum pernah dilesenkan hendaklah dengan perbelanjaan sendiri mengiklankan dengan surat hal ia telah meminta kepada Lembaga supaya dikeluarkan lesen-lesen menerangkan keadaan lesen yang dipinta itu dan membentangkan iklan itu pada tempat yang mudah dilihat selama 2 (dua) minggu dahulu daripada 9 Disember 2001.

Notice is hereby given that the Kuala Muda Licensing Board constituted under the

Excise Act 1976 in respect of the District of Kuala Muda will hold its First Half Meeting for the year 2002 at the District Office Kuala Muda on Sunday 9th December 2001 at 9.00 a.m. to consider:

(a)

New applications for licences to sell intoxicating liquors; and

(b)

Applications for renewal of licences to sell intoxicating liquors for the First

Half for the year 2002.

Seksyen 2

Applications must be in writing (in quadruplicate) in the forms prescribed in the

Schedule to the Excise (Licensing Board) Regulations 1977 and must be submitted to the Chairman at the District Office Kuala Muda not later than 4 (four) weeks before:

(a)

9th December 2001 in the case of new applications; and

(b)

4 (four) weeks before the date of expiry of existing licenses in the case of applications for renewal of such licenses.

Seksyen 3

Every applications for a licence for premises not previously licensed shall at his own expense advertise in writing the fact that he has made an application to the Board for the issue of licence, describing the nature of the licences applied for and displaying conspicuously such advertisement at the premises it is intended to be licensed for a period of 2 (two) weeks immediately preceding the 9th December 2001.
