PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 41 Akta Francais 1998 [Akta 590], Menteri membuat peraturan-peraturan yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

[P.U. (A) 424/1999] dipinda dengan menggantikan peraturan 2 dengan peraturan yang berikut:

“Kesalahan boleh kompaun 2.

Semua kesalahan di bawah Akta kecuali subseksyen 6(2), seksyen 37 dan seksyen 37A, adalah ditetapkan sebagai kesalahan boleh kompaun.”.

FRANCHISE (COMPOUNDING OF OFFENCES)

(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 2022

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 41 of the Franchise Act 1998 [Act 590], the Minister makes the following regulations: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

These regulations may be cited as the Franchise (Compounding of

Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2022.

(2)

These Regulations come into operation on 28 April 2022.

Amendment of regulation 2 2.

The Franchise (Compounding of Offences) Regulations 1999 [P.U. (A) 424/1999]

are amended by substituting for regulation 2 the following regulation:

“Compoundable offences

Seksyen 2

All offences under the Act except for the offences under subsection 6(2), section 37 and section 37A, are prescribed as compoundable offences.”.
