Opening note
Peraturan-peraturan ini bolehlah dinamakan Peraturan-Peraturan
Pembangunan Kemahiran Kebangsaan (Penepian Fi kepada Pelatih di
Pusat Bertauliah) 2016.
Peraturan-Peraturan ini disifatkan telah mula berkuat kuasa pada 1 November 2015.
Penepian fi
Tertakluk kepada subperaturan (2), fi yang ditetapkan dalam butiran 3(a)(i) Jadual kepada Peraturan-Peraturan Pembangunan Kemahiran
Kebangsaan (Fi dan Caj) 2006 [P.U. (A) 409/2006] diketepikan berkenaan dengan seseorang pelatih yang memohon bagi pengiktirafan kemahiran yang membawa kepada anugerah Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia melalui pusat bertauliah sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (1) Jadual.
Penepian fi di bawah subperaturan (1) terpakai bagi permohonan pengiktirafan kemahiran yang dibuat dalam tempoh dua tahun sebagaimana yang dinyatakan dalam ruang (2) Jadual.
Pembayaran balik fi
Pelatih yang disebut dalam peraturan 2 yang telah membayar fi yang ditetapkan dalam butiran 3(a)(i) Jadual kepada Peraturan-Peraturan Pembangunan
Kemahiran Kebangsaan (Fi dan Caj) 2006 boleh memohon kepada Ketua Pengarah bagi pembayaran balik fi itu.

Apabila permohonan di bawah subperaturan (1) diterima, Ketua
Pengarah hendaklah, selepas ditentusahkan, membayar balik fi yang telah dibayar oleh pelatih itu.

NATIONAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT (WAIVER OF FEE TO TRAINEE AT
ACCREDITED CENTRE) REGULATIONS 2016
IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 72(2)(d)
of the
National Skills Development Act 2006 [Act 652], the Minister makes the following regulations:
Citation and commencement 1.
(1)
These regulations may be cited as the National Skills Development
(Waiver of Fee to Trainee at Accredited Centre) Regulations 2016.
(2)
These
Regulations are deemed to have come into operation on 1 November 2015.
Waiver of fee 2.
(1)
Subject to subregulation (2), the fee prescribed in item 3(a)(i) of the
Schedule to the National Skills Development (Fees and Charges) Regulations 2006
[P.U. (A) 409/2006] is waived in respect of a trainee who applies for the recognition of skills leading to the award of the Malaysian Skills Certificate through the accredited centre as specified in column (1) of the Schedule.
(2)
The waiver of fee under subregulation (1) applies to the application for the recognition of skills made within the period of two years as specified in column (2)
of the Schedule.
Refund of fee 3.
(1)
The trainee referred to in regulation 2 who has paid the fee prescribed in item 3(a)(i) of the Schedule to the National Skills Development (Fees and Charges)
Regulations 2006 may apply to the Director General for a refund of the fee.
(2)
Upon receipt of the application under subregulation (1), the
Director General shall, after verification, refund the fee paid by the trainee.
