Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 22B(1) of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 [Act 447], the Minister, upon the recommendation of the Commission, makes the following order: Citation 1. This order may be cited as the Electricity Supply (Authorization to be a Single Buyer) (Amendment) Order 2023. Amendment of title 2. The Electricity Supply (Authorization to be a Single Buyer) Order 2016 [P.U. (A) 259/2016], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended by inserting after the words “SINGLE BUYER” the words “IN PENINSULAR MALAYSIA”. Amendment of paragraph 1 3. Paragraph 1 of the principal Order is amended by inserting after the words “Single Buyer” the words “in Peninsular Malaysia”. Amendment of paragraph 2 4. Paragraph 2 of the principal Order is amended by inserting after the words “Single Buyer” the words “in Peninsular Malaysia”.
