EXCISE DUTIES (LABUAN) ORDER 2016

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 90A(1)(a) of the Excise Act 1976 [Act 176], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Excise Duties (Labuan) Order 2016.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 1 November 2016.

Excise duties 2.

Excise duties shall be levied on and paid by the importer in respect of intoxicating liquors, tobacco products and cigarettes imported into Labuan at the rates specified in column 4 of the Schedule to the prevailing Excise Duties Order.
