STAMP ACT 1949

STAMP DUTY (REMISSION) ORDER 2012

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 80(2) of the Stamp Act 1949

[Act 378], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Stamp Duty (Remission) Order 2012.

(2)

This Order is deemed to have come into operation on 1 May 2011.

Remission 2.

The amount of stamp duty chargeable under subitem 32(a) of the First Schedule to the Act on an instrument of deed of assignment executed between a contractor and subcontractor pursuant to Dasar Pengagihan Kerja kepada Kontraktor Bumiputera

Kelas E dan F which is in excess of RM50.00 is remitted.
