FEES (REGISTRATION OF COMPANIES WITH MINISTRY OF FINANCE) ORDER 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Fees Act 1951 [Act 209], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Fees (Registration of Companies with

Ministry of Finance) Order 2017.

Application 2.

This

Order shall apply to the registration of companies with the

Ministry of Finance for the purpose of government procurement for supplies and services.

Interpretation 3.

In this Order, “company” means a sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability partnership, company, consultant firms, society, co-operative society or any entity established under the laws of Malaysia.

Payment of fee 4.

The fees paid shall not be refunded.

Revocation, savings and transitional 5.

(1)

The Fees (Registration of Contractors) Order 1984 [P.U. (A) 405/1984]

is revoked (hereinafter referred to as “the revoked Order”).

Any application made under the revoked Order and pending immediately before the coming into operation of this Order shall be dealt with under this Order as if the application is made under this Order.

Any registration or renewal of registration approved under the revoked

Order and in force immediately before the coming into operation of this Order shall continue to remain in force until the period approved for the registration or the renewal of the registration expires or the registration or the renewal of the registration is revoked.
