Pembayaran tol 3.

(1)

Tol yang disebut dalam subperenggan 2(1) hendaklah kena dibayar oleh pemandu kenderaan sebelum memasuki Plaza Tol Salak Selatan yang terletak di kilometer 4.00, Plaza Tol Seri Kembangan yang terletak di kilometer 16.00 dan Plaza

Tol Utama Putrajaya yang terletak di kilometer 25.38 Lebuh Raya Maju Expressway, semua jarak diukur dari kilometer 0.00 Lebuh Raya Maju Expressway.

Seseorang pemandu kenderaan yang menggunakan suatu kad atau peranti elektronik hendaklah melalui suatu lorong tol yang mempunyai suatu mesin pembaca kad atau peranti elektronik, menghampiri mesin pembaca itu dan menyentuhkan kad atau peranti elektronik ke mesin pembaca itu dan tol yang kena dibayar hendaklah ditolak daripada kad atau peranti elektronik itu.

Seseorang pemandu kenderaan yang menggunakan tag elektonik hendaklah, sebelum melalui lorong tag elektronik yang dikhaskan, mempamerkan tag elektronik atau tag elektronik dengan kad atau peranti elektronik di cermin hadapan kenderaan dan tol yang kena dibayar hendaklah ditolak daripada tag elektronik atau kad elektronik atau peranti elektronik itu.

“Kad atau peranti elektronik” dan “tag elektronik” ertinya—

(a)

sesuatu kad atau peranti elektronik dan tag elektronik yang dibenarkan oleh Menteri, yang dikeluarkan bagi maksud pembayaran tol;

(b)

berhubung dengan sesuatu kad atau peranti elektronik, suatu kad atau peranti elektronik yang boleh dibaca oleh mesin pembaca yang dipasang di lorong tol; dan

(c)

berhubung dengan sesuatu tag elektronik, suatu tag elektronik yang boleh menyebabkan palang di lorong tag elektronik yang dikhaskan dinaikkan secara elektronik.

Pengecualian daripada pembayaran tol 4.

Walau apa pun peruntukan Perintah ini, kenderaan yang dinyatakan dalam

Jadual Ketiga dikecualikan daripada pembayaran tol.

Pembatalan 5.

Perintah Jalan-Jalan Persekutuan (Pengurusan Persendirian) (Pungutan Tol)

(Lebuh Raya Kuala Lumpur-Putrajaya) 2008 [P.U. (A) 15/2008] dibatalkan.

Semua kenderaan tentera yang dimiliki oleh Kerajaan atau mana-mana angkatan pelawat yang ditakrifkan dalam Akta Angkatan Pelawat 1960 [Akta 432].

4.

Semua kenderaan Kerajaan yang digunakan semata-mata untuk tugas ambulans, tugas melawan kebakaran, tugas polis atau tugas menyelamat termasuk kenderaan pasukan penyelamat Jabatan Pertahanan Awam dan kenderaan

Jabatan Penjara semasa menjalankan tugas mengiringi banduan.

5.

Semua kenderaan yang bukan kenderaan Kerajaan yang digunakan semata-mata untuk tugas ambulans, tugas melawan kebakaran dan tugas menyelamat.

6.

Semua motosikal beroda tiga atau beroda empat yang digunakan oleh mana-mana orang cacat.

FEDERAL ROADS (PRIVATE MANAGEMENT) (COLLECTION OF TOLLS)

(MAJU EXPRESSWAY HIGHWAY) ORDER 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Federal Roads

(Private Management) Act 1984 [Act 306], the Minister makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (Private Management)

(Collection of Tolls) (Maju Expressway Highway) Order 2016.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 13 January 2016.

Authorization to collect tolls 2.

is authorised for the period from 13 January 2016 to 5 December 2045 to demand, collect and retain the appropriate tolls specified in column (2) of the First Schedule for the use in either direction by the classes of vehicles specified in column (1) of the First Schedule of any part of the road known as the Maju Expressway Highway commences from kilometre 0.00 at coordinates N 59301.224, E 23869.695 of the Rectified Skew

Orthomorphic (RSO) Geocentric (GDM 2000) Grid and ending at kilometre 25.38 at coordinates N 81388.526, E 15988.536 of the RSO Geocentric (GDM 2000) Grid including the entry and exit ramps and interchanges at Kampung Pandan Roundabout,

Tun Razak Interchange, Salak Selatan Toll Plaza, East-West Link, Kuchai Lama

Interchange, Bukit Jalil Interchange, Seri Kembangan Toll Plaza, Seri Kembangan

Interchange, Putrajaya Main Toll Plaza, Putrajaya Link Interchange and its link roads, being a distance of 25.38 kilometre.

The roads specified in subparagraph (1) for the use of which tolls are authorized to be demanded, collected and retained are shown on the map in the Second

Schedule.

Payment of toll 3.

(1)

The toll referred to in subparagraph 2(1) shall be payable by a driver of a vehicle before entering the Salak Selatan Toll Plaza situated at kilometre 4.00,

Seri Kembangan Toll Plaza situated at kilometre 16.00 and Putrajaya Main Toll Plaza situated at kilometre 25.38 of the Maju Expressway Highway, all distance measured from kilometre 0.00 of Maju Expressway Highway.

(2)

A driver of a vehicle who uses an electronic card or device shall pass through a toll lane having an electronic card or device reader, approach the reader and touch the electronic card or device on the reader and the toll payable shall be deducted from the electronic card or device.

(3)

A driver of a vehicle who uses an electronic tag shall, before passing through the dedicated electronic tag lane, display the electronic tag or the electronic tag with a valid electronic card or device at the windscreen of the vehicle and the toll payable shall be deducted from the electronic tag or the electronic card or device.

(4)

“Electronic card or device” and “electronic tag” means—

(a)

an electronic card or device and electronic tag as approved by the

Minister, issued for the purpose of payment of tolls;

(b)

in relation to an electronic card or device, an electronic card or device which is capable of being read by the reader installed at the toll lane; and

(c)

in relation to an electronic tag, an electronic tag which is capable of causing the pole at the dedicated electronic tag lane to be raised electronically.

Exemption from payment of toll 4.

Notwithstanding the provisions of this Order, the vehicles specified in the Third

Schedule are exempted from payment of toll.

[Paragraph 4]

EXEMPTED VEHICLES

1.

Any vehicles carrying the Yang di-Pertuan Agong or the Raja Permaisuri Agong, the Rulers or their consorts, the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of the States of Malacca,

Penang, Sabah and Sarawak or their wives, the Dato’-Dato’ Undang Negeri

Sembilan or the Tengku Besar Tampin or their wives, the Tengku Mahkota or the

Raja Muda of any States or their wives, the Raja Di-Hilir of Perak or his wife, or any visiting foreign dignitary.

2.

Any Government vehicle carrying the Prime Minister or the Deputy Prime

Minister.

3.

All military vehicles belonging to the Government or to any visiting force as defined in the Visiting Forces Act 1960 [Act 432].

4.

All Government vehicles solely engaged in ambulance duties, firefighting duties police duties or rescue duties inclusive of rescue team vehicles of the Civil

Defence Department and vehicles of the Prison Department whilst on prisoner’s escort duties.

5.

All vehicles not being Government vehicles solely engaged in ambulance duties, firefighting duties and rescue duties.

6.

All three-wheeled or four–wheeled motorcycles used by any handicapped person.
