Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Penang, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 15) Order 2023.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 3 November 2023.

Amendment of Fourth Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the Fourth Schedule under the heading of Pulau Pinang—

(a)

by substituting for item 3 the following item:

“3.

(Route 3115): Mayang Pasir Road

Starting from the junction of Route 6, Around Penang Island Road at coordinates N 5.303801, E 100.278377 and ending at coordinates

N 5.319847, E 100.285552 including its link roads within the boundaries of right of way as shown on

MAP 3: MAYANG PASIR ROAD (a distance of 2.219 km).”; and

(b)

by inserting after MAP 2: COASTAL ROAD (BAYAN LEPAS HIGHWAY)

the following map:
