Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Kelantan, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 16) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 31 December 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Kelantan Darul Naim”—

(a)

by substituting for item 35 the following item:

“35.

(Route 36): Aring 8-Jeneris Road

Starting from the junction of

Route 8,

Kota

Bharu-Gua Musang Road at coordinates N 4.998770, E 102.500360

and ending at Kelantan and Terengganu state boundary at coordinates N 4.901597, E 102.151066 within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 8: ARING 8-JENERIS ROAD

(a distance of 55.058 km).”; and

(b)

by substituting for MAP 8: CHIKU-ARING-ARING 8 ROAD the following map:
