FEDERAL ROADS ACT 1959

FEDERAL ROADS (WEST MALAYSIA) (AMENDMENT) (NO. 4) ORDER 2023

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Kelantan, makes the following order:

Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 4) Order 2023.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 15 May 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989], which is referred to as the “principal Order” in this Order, is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of Negeri Kelantan Darul Naim—

(a)

by substituting for item 6 the following item:

“6.

(Route 8): Gua Musang-Kota Bharu Road

Starting from Pahang and Kelantan state boundary at coordinates

N 4.736938, E 102.012923 and ending in Kota Bharu at coordinates N 6.117333, E 102.242304 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 19:

GUA MUSANG-KOTA BHARU ROAD (a distance of 201.237 km).”;

by inserting after item 44 the following item:

“45.

(Route 479): Kemuning-Bukit Belah Road

Starting from coordinates N 5.793574, E 102.211270 and ending at coordinates N 5.796906, E 102.223129 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 20:

(c)

by inserting after

Starting from coordinates N 4.825158, E 101.962289 and ending at coordinates N 4.863795, E 101.962927 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 6:
