Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Perak, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 5) Order 2023.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 31 May 2023.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of Negeri Perak Darul Ridzuan—

(a)

by inserting after item 31 the following item:

“32.

(Route 312): Bagan Datuk-Sejagop Road

Starting from the junction of Route 69, Simpang Empat-Bagan Datuk

Road at coordinates N 3.986319, E 100.786663 and ending at the junction of Route 5, Kampung Kayan-Teluk Intan Road at coordinates N 4.047008, E 100.834434 including its link road within the boundaries of right of way as shown on MAP 18:

BAGAN DATUK-SEJAGOP ROAD (a distance of 10.197 km).”; and
