Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Federal Roads Act 1959 [Act 376], the Minister, after consultation with the State Government of Kedah, makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Federal Roads (West Malaysia)

(Amendment) (No. 7) Order 2022.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 15 May 2022.

Amendment of First Schedule 2.

The Federal Roads (West Malaysia) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 401/1989] is amended in the First Schedule under the heading of “Negeri Kedah Darul Aman”—

(a)

by substituting for item 21 the following item:

“21.

(Route 115):

Kuala

Teriang–Pantai

Tengah

Road,

Pulau Langkawi

Starting from the junction of Route 114 (Simpang

Teriang-Telok Burau Road, Pulau Langkawi) at coordinates

N 6.361446, E 99.713941 and ending at coordinates

N 6.297134, E 99.722239 within the boundaries of right of way as shown in MAP: KUALA TERIANG-PANTAI TENGAH

ROAD, PULAU LANGKAWI (a distance of 9.266 km).”; and

by inserting after MAP: BALING-PENGKALAN HULU ROAD the following map:
