Bintulu (Peluasan Fungsi) 2017.

Perintah ini mula berkuat kuasa pada 31 Januari 2017.

Tafsiran

Seksyen 2

Dalam Perintah ini, “Pelabuhan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan” dan “Pelabuhan

Teluk Victoria” ertinya Pelabuhan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan dan Pelabuhan

Teluk Victoria yang terletak dalam had pelabuhan yang diisytiharkan di bawah seksyen 6 Ordinan Perkapalan Saudagar 1952 [Ord. 70/1952].

Peluasan fungsi, kuasa, tugas dan bidang kuasa

Fungsi, kuasa, tugas dan bidang kuasa Lembaga Pelabuhan Bintulu diperluas kepada Pelabuhan Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan dan Pelabuhan Teluk Victoria.

Seksyen 4

Lembaga Pelabuhan Labuan

Labuan dan Pelabuhan Teluk Victoria, Lembaga Pelabuhan Bintulu hendaklah digelar sebagai "Lembaga Pelabuhan Labuan".

BINTULU PORT AUTHORITY (EXTENSION OF FUNCTIONS) ORDER 2017

Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 66A of the Bintulu Port Authority Act 1981 [Act 243], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Bintulu Port Authority (Extension of

Functions) Order 2017.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 31 January 2017.

Interpretation 2.

In this Order, “Federal Territory of Labuan Port” and “Victoria Bay Port”

mean the Federal Territory of Labuan Port and the Victoria Bay Port located within the port limits declared under section 6 of the Merchant Shipping

Ordinance 1952 [Ord. 70/1952].

Extension of functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction 3.

The functions, powers, duties and jurisdiction of the Bintulu Port Authority are extended to the Federal Territory of Labuan Port and the Victoria Bay Port.

Labuan Port Authority 4.

In carrying out its functions in respect of the Federal Territory of Labuan Port and the Victoria Bay Port, the Bintulu Port Authority shall be styled as the

“Labuan Port Authority”.
