PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 8 dan 22 Akta Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia 1980[Akta 225], Menteri, setelah berunding dengan Majlis, membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama dan permulaan kuat kuasa

Pindaan Jadual Pertama

Seksyen 2

Jadual Pertama Akta Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia 1980 dipinda dengan memasukkan selepas butiran 1 butiran yang berikut:

"2. Malaysian University English Test.".

Tugas untuk mengelolakan peperiksaan

Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia hendaklah bertanggungjawab untuk mengelolakan peperiksaan "Malaysian University English Test" mulai tahun 1999.

MALAYSIAN EXAMINATIONS COUNCIL (AMENDMENT OF FIRST SCHEDULE) ORDER 1999

Opening note

Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8 and 22 of the Malaysian Examinations Council Act 1980[Act 225], the Minister, after consultation with the Council, makes the following order: Citation and commencement

This Order shall be deemed to have come into operation on 6 January 1999.

Amendment of First Schedule

Seksyen 2

The First Schedule of the Malaysian Examinations Council Act 1980 is amended by inserting after item 1 the following item:

"2. Malaysian University English Test."

Seksyen 3

Duty to conduct examination

The Malaysian Examinations Council shall be responsible for the conduct of the examination of the Malaysian University English Test with effect from the year 1999.
