(AMENDMENT) (NO. 5) ORDER 2022

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Ministerial Functions Act 1969 [Act 2], the Yang di-Pertuan Agong makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

(1)

This order may be cited as the Ministers of the Federal Government

(No. 3) (Amendment) (No. 5) Order 2022.

(2)

Subsubparagraph 2(a)(i) and subparagraph (b) are deemed to have come into operation on 5 August 2022.

(3)

Subsubparagraph 2(a)(ii) is deemed to have come into operation on 24 March 2022.

(4)

Subsubparagraph 2(a)(iii) is deemed to have come into operation on 25 January 2022.

Amendment of Schedule 2.

The Ministers of the Federal Government (No. 3) Order 2021 [P.U. (A) 383/2021]

is amended in the Schedule—

(a)

in respect of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation—

(i)

by inserting after the item “Malaysia Board of Technologists” in the

“Department/Subject” column the item “Malaysian Bioeconomy

Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (Bioeconomy Corp.)”;

by substituting for the item “Technology Park Malaysia Corporation

Sdn. Bhd.” in the “Department/Subject” column the item “MRANTI

Corporation Sdn. Bhd.”;

(iii)

by inserting after the item “Technologists and Technicians Act 2015

[Act 768]” in the “Department/Subject” column the item

“Malaysian Space Board Act 2022 [Act 834]”; and

(b)

in respect of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, by deleting the item “Malaysia Bioeconomy Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd.” in the

“Department/Subject” column.
