PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh seksyen 15 Akta Penyemakan Undang-Undang 1968 [Akta 1], Pesuruhjaya Penyemak Undang-Undang membuat perintah yang berikut: Nama

Perintah ini bolehlah dinamakan Perintah Penyemakan Undang-Undang (Pembetulan Akta Pertubuhan Peladang 1973) 2002.

Pembetulan

Cetakan semula teks bahasa Inggeris Akta Pertubuhan Peladang 1973 [Akta 109] yang disiarkan dalam tahun 2000 yang mengandungi segala pindaan hingga 29 Februari 2000 dibetulkan—

(a)

dalam seksyen 2, dalam takrif "agro-based co-operative society" dengan menggantikan perkataan "the Co-operative Societies Act 1993 [Act 502]" dengan perkataan "the Co-operative Societies Act 1948 [Act 287], the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1958 of Sabah [Sabah Ord. 3 of 1958] and the Co-operative Societies Ordinance of Sarawak [Sarawak Cap. 66]"; dan

(b)

dalam muka surat 7, dengan memasukkan nota kaki seperti yang berikut:

"NOTE—Act 287, Sabah Ord. 3 of 1958 and Sarawak Cap. 66 have been repealed and substituted by the Co-operative Societies Act 1993 [Act 502]—see section 95 of Act 502.".

REVISION OF LAWS (RECTIFICATION OF FARMERS' ORGANIZATION ACT 1973) ORDER 2002

Preamble

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 15 of the Revision of Laws Act 1968 [Act 1], the Commissioner of Law Revision makes the following order: Citation

Seksyen 1

This order may be cited as the Revision of Laws (Rectification of Farmers' Organization Act 1973) Order 2002.

Seksyen 2

Rectification

The reprint of the English language text of the Farmers' Organization Act 1973 [Act 109] published in the year 2000 incorporating all amendments up to 29 February 2000 is rectified—

(a)

in section 2, in the definition of "agro-based co-operative society" by substituting for the words "the Co-operative Societies Act 1993 [Act 502]" the words "the Co-operative Societies Act 1948 [Act 287]", the Co-operative Societies Ordinance 1958 of Sabah [Sabah Ord. 3 of 1958] and the Co-operative Societies Ordinance of Sarawak [Sarawak Cap. 66]"; and

(b)

in page 7, by inserting a footnote as follows:

"NOTE—Act 287, Sabah Ord. 3 of 1958 and Sarawak Cap. 66 have been repealed and substituted by the Co-operative Societies Act 1993 [Act 502]—see section 95 of Act 502.".
