Opening note

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 70(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 [Act 333], the Minister makes the following order: Citation and commencement 1.

This order may be cited as the Weight Restrictions (Federal Roads)

(Amendment) (No. 3) Order 2026.

(2)

This Order comes into operation on 12 June 2026.

Amendment of Second Schedule 2.

The Weight Restrictions (Federal Roads) Order 1989 [P.U. (A) 478/1989] is amended in List I of the Second Schedule, by inserting after the heading of

State of Sarawak and items relating to it the following heading and items:

Tawau-Semporna Road (Route 1)

Starting at coordinates N 4.398709, E 118.159266 and ending at coordinates N 4.425724, E 118.183222 (a distance of 5.053 km).

Starting at coordinates N 5.643293, E 117.828885 and ending at coordinates N 5.755267, E 117.753988 (a distance of 19.905 km).
