PADA menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 1(2) Akta Keselamatan Sosial Pekerja (Pindaan) 2026 [Akta A1788], Menteri menetapkan—

(a)

Jun 2026

sebagai tarikh

Akta itu mula berkuat kuasa;

(b)

1 Jun 2026 hingga 31 Mei 2028 sebagai tarikh yang tempoh kuat kuasa pemakaian “Fasa Pertama” mula berkuat kuasa;

(c)

1 Jun 2028 hingga 31 Mei 2031 sebagai tarikh yang tempoh kuat kuasa pemakaian “Fasa Kedua” mula berkuat kuasa; dan

(d)

1 Jun 2031 dan seterusnya sebagai tarikh yang tempoh kuat kuasa pemakaian “Fasa Ketiga” mula berkuat kuasa.

EMPLOYEES’ SOCIAL SECURITY (AMENDMENT) ACT 2026

APPOINTMENT OF DATE OF COMING INTO OPERATION

Preamble

IN exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 1(2) of the Employees’ Social Security (Amendment) Act 2026 [Act A1788], the Minister appoints—

(a)

1 June 2026 as the date on which the Act comes into operation;

(b)

1 June 2026 to 31 May 2028 as the dates on which the effective period of application of the “First Phase” comes into operation;

(c)

1 June 2028 to 31 May 2031 as the dates on which the effective period of application of the “Second Phase” comes into operation; and

(d)

1 June 2031 and onwards as the dates on which the effective period of application of the “Third Phase” comes into operation.
