WHEREAS the Legislative Assembly of the State of Johore has become vacant in consequence of its dissolution on 1 June 2026 by the Regent of Johore.

NOTICE that the
Election
Commission has issued election writs on 12 June 2026 to the returning officers of the State Constituencies of Johore specified in the Schedule hereto and that the day of nomination in respect of

each State Constituency shall be 27 June 2026 and that in the event of a contested election in any of such Constituencies, the advance polling day shall be 7 July 2026 and the polling day shall be 11 July 2026.
