Section 52

(1)

Any person who, without lawful excuse, refuses or neglects to obey any direction lawfully given under this Enactment or the regulations shall be guilty of an offence and shall, unless some other penalty is specifically prescribed, be liable to a fine of five hundred ringgit and, in the case of a continuing offence, to a fine of one hundred ringgit for every day or part of a day during which he wilfully continues to disobey such direction.

(2)

In case of any refusal, neglect or failure to comply with this Enactment or the regulations, the Authority may, whether any proceedings have been instituted against any person for such offence or not, do or cause to be done all such acts as are in its opinion reasonable or necessary for the purpose of carrying out such compliance and may hire and employ such persons as it considers proper and necessary for such purpose, and all expenses incurred in doing such acts shall be paid and borne by the person or person so offending.
