of Forest Constitution Forest Reserves And Amendment Enactment 1984
Section 2
(1)
There shall be constituted the several Forest Reserves specified in the Schedule hereto.
(2)
The situation and extent of the Forest Reserves are shown and delineated on the maps and plans specified in the respective columns in the Schedule hereto and on Plan No. 99194657
deposited in the office of the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Secretary of Natural
Resources and the Director of Forestry.
(3)
The rights and privileges and conditions governing any of the Forest Reserves and existing at the time this Enactment comes into operation shall continue and shall be deemed to be conceded or stated as the case may be under section 12 of the Forest Enactment 1968 [No.
2 of 1968.] (hereinafter referred to as “the principal Enactment”).
(4)
The provisions of the principal Enactment shall apply to the Forest Reserves hereby constituted in the same manner and to the same extent as Forest Reserves Constituted under section 12 of the principal Enactment.
(5)
Any Forest Reserve previously constituted and not included in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be Forest Reserve from the date of operation of this Enactment.
