Section 25
(1)
Every Court shall have power to punish any contempt of itself.
(2)
Any person who, in or during any proceedings-
(a)
disobeys any lawful order of the Court; or
(b)
omits to produce or deliver up any document on the lawful order of the
Court; or
(c)
refuses to answer any lawful question asked by any member of the Court;
or
(d)
refuses to sign any statement lawfully required by the Court; or
(e)
intentionally insults the Court or any of its members; or
(f)
Intentionally interrupts the proceedings of the Court at any stage, shall be guilty of contempt of court and shall on conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding five thousand ringgit or imprisonment not exceeding two years or both.
