Section 29

(1)

Subject to sub-section (2) no proceedings, action or suit shall be entertained by any Court if such proceedings, action or suit is instituted after the limitation period prescribed under the Schedule.

(2)

If the limitation period prescribed for any proceedings, action or suit expires on a weekly holiday or public holiday, the said proceedings, action or suit may be instituted on the day immediately after the weekly holiday or public holiday.

(3)

In computing the limitation period prescribed for any proceedings, action or suit, the day from which such period is to be computed shall be excluded.
