of Wildlife Conservation Enactment 1997

Section 1

(1)

This Enactment may be cited as the Wildlife Conservation Enactment 1997 and shall come into force on such date as the Minister may, by notification in the

Gazette, appoint and the Minister may appoint different dates for the coming into force of different provisions of this Enactment. [31.07.98]

(2)

The Minister may, by order published in the Gazette -

(a)

suspend the operation of the whole or any provision of this

Enactment in any part of the State; and

(b)

at any time thereafter, remove the suspension, with effect from such date as the Minister may decide.
