(1)
The Director shall, as soon as practicable after making an order of forfeiture under section 76, 77, 98, 128 or 130 with respect to any mining lease, publish or cause to be published in the Gazette a notification of forfeiture in such form as may be prescribed and any such forfeiture shall take effect upon such publication.
(2)
Where an order of forfeiture as mentioned in subsection (1) has been made, the lessee shall forthwith surrender the document of mining lease to the Director.
(3)
The Minister shall, as soon as practicable after the notification mentioned in subsection (1) is published, enter or cause to be entered a memorial thereof in the register as provided for under section 120.
