Section 44

Any person other than the engineman and fireman and assistant fireman, if any, not being specially authorised so to do by the Director or the Locomotive

Superintendent or executive officer in charge of the line, riding or attempting to ride upon any locomotive engine or tender upon the railway, and any person other than the guard not being specially authorised so to do by the Director or the Traffic

Superintendent or the guard, riding or attempting to ride upon the railway in or upon any luggage-van or goods-wagon, or other vehicle not appropriated to the carrying of passengers, commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding one thousand ringgit for each offence.
