Pada menjalankan kuasa di bawah subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/65], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri telah merizabkan tanah yang diperihalkan dalam Jadual bagi maksud awam, iaitu sebagai padang bola sepak DUN Kuala Linggi dan telah menetapkan bahawa Y.B. Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Melaka hendaklah mempunyai kawalan terhadap tanah rizab itu.
