Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56 tahun 1965], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri Pulau Pinang telah merizabkan tanah iaitu No. Lot 10020 yang terletak di Mukim 1, Daerah Barat Daya, Pulau Pinang, seluas 922 meter persegi dan ditandakan di atas pelan akui No. P.A. 103790, bagi maksud awam iaitu, suatu tapak untuk kawasan lapang dan telah menetapkan bahawa Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri Pulau Pinang hendaklah mempunyai kawalan terhadap tanah rizab itu dan bahawa tanah rizab itu hendaklah diselenggarakan oleh Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang.
