- In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code [Act 56 of 1965], the State Authority of Penang has reserved the land described in the Schedule for a public purpose, to wit, a site for open area and has designated that the State Secretary of Penang shall have control of the reserved land and that the reserved land shall be maintained by the City Council of Penang Island.
