Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 828], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri telah merizabkan tanah seluas 18,250 meter persegi, yang dikenali sebagai Lot 20268, Bandar Maran Seksyen 001, Daerah Maran yang ditandakan di atas Pelan Ukur No. P.A. 291565, yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang untuk maksud awam iaitu sebagai Tapak Kawasan Lapang, di Padang Kompleks Bandar Maran, di bawah kawalan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri dan diselenggarakan oleh Yang Dipertua Majlis Daerah Maran.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code [Act 828], the State Authority has reserved a land measuring an area of 18,250 square metres, known as Lot 20268, Town of Maran Section 001, District of Maran as delineated upon Survey Plan No. P.A. 291565, deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Pahang for a public purpose to wit a site for an Open Area, at Padang Kompleks Town of Maran, to be under the control of the State Secretary and maintained by the President of Maran District Council.
