Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 62(1) Kanun Tanah Negara [Akta 56/1965], Pihak Berkuasa Negeri telah merizabkan tanah seluas 2548 meter persegi, yang dikenali sebagai Lot 587 Seksyen 12, Bandar Mentakab, Daerah Temerloh yang ditandakan di atas Pelan Ukur No. P.A. 108041 yang disimpan di Pejabat Pengarah Ukur dan Pemetaan Pahang untuk maksud awam, iaitu sebagai Tapak Kemudahan Awam (Kawasan Lapang) di Taman Mentakab, di bawah kawalan Setiausaha Kerajaan Negeri dan diselenggarakan oleh Yang Dipertua Majlis Perbandaran Temerloh.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 62(1) of the National Land Code [Act 56/1965], the State Authority has reserved a land measuring an area of 2548 square metres, known as Lot 587 Section 12, Bandar Mentakab, District of Temerloh, as delineated upon Survey Plan No. P.A. 108041 deposited in the Office of the Director of Survey and Mapping of Pahang for public purpose to wit a site for the Public Facilities (Open Area) at Taman Mentakab, to be under the control of the State Secretary and maintained by the President of Temerloh Municipal Council.
