Pada menjalankan kuasa yang diberikan oleh subseksyen 3(i) Enakmen Rizab Melayu, Menteri Besar Pahang mengisytiharkan tanah seluas 2.404 hektar yang dikenali sebagai Lot 540 dalam Mukim Hulu Kuantan, Daerah Kuantan yang ditunjukkan di atas Pelan Ukur No. PA 77312 yang disimpan di pejabat Pengarah Ukur Pahang menjadi Kawasan Simpanan Melayu dan dikenali sebagai Kawasan Simpanan Melayu Sungai Lembing.

In exercise of the powers conferred by subsection 3(i) of the Malay Reservations Enactment, the Menteri Besar of Pahang declares the land measuring an area of 2.404 hectares known as Lot 540 in the Mukim of Hulu Kuantan, District of Kuantan, as shown upon Survey Plan No. PA 77312 deposited in the office of the Director of Survey of Pahang to be a Malay Reservation and to be known as Sungai Lembing Malay Reservation.
